What is Rotary?
Rotary
International, the world’s

world.
Rotary’s motto, “Service Above Self,” exemplifies the humanitarian spirit of the organization’s 1.2 million

A simple 24-word test created by Herbert J. Taylor in 1932 and
adopted by Rotary International in 1943, stresses the importance of high ethical standards for
all Rotarians.
It asks….”of
the things we think, say or do….”
- Is it the TRUTH?
- Is it FAIR to all concerned?
- Will it build GOODWILL & BETTER FRIENDSHIPS?
-
Will it be BENEFICIAL to all concerned?
